The Audi marque is usually associated with executive saloons and, more recently, the wonderful TT, but it wasn’t until 2007 that the German company first ventured into SUV territory with their Q7. The smaller Q5 came the following year, and is a crossover vehicle that takes its styling cues from the Q7 but is placed in a more affordable bracket. Most second hand Audi Q5s you find will be 2.0 Quattro configuration in petrol or diesel, but Audi did produce a 3.2 FSI (petrol) and a 3.0 TDI (diesel) up to 2012, which were much sportier variations on the crossover SUV theme. It arrived with universal acclaim from the reviewers, who loved its touches of luxury and style at a price that wasn’t over the top for a vehicle in its class from such a respected manufacturer.

So, even when carrying a high mileage or travelling long distances, second-hand Audis can deliver excellent performance.
